Protein function: Mainly expressed in neural tissue, it participates in the composition of voltage-sensitive calcium ion channels and causes N-type calcium currents.

Phenotype: Neurodevelopmental disorder with seizures and nonepileptic hyperkinetic movements (AR) [1].
